05202012-I noticed that my husband's dog, Gypsy, was acting very strange this afternoon. So being such as I am, a bit psychic/intuitive, I got her bed/cage ready to welcome her new babies into this world. I cut the extra tarp pieces that was left over from putting the new pool up last week. I was so happy that Roy had cut it around the pool in order to have these pieces to put some under the cage where her and her puppies will be living in our mud room. Having puppies can be very messy, unless you know what you're doing. I put a clean towel down in the inside of the cage so that both mom and pups will be comfy, as usual for Gypsy, new for the pups. Gypsy is having her puppies now! It started at around 8:30pm tonight! So far, she's only had 2, one black and one brown. About 3 months ago, a Beagle climbed over the fence in our back yard and got stuck to her. He did this twice that we know of and once was when my husband was sitting on the back porch, not noticing that she and that Beagle were connected! Yeah, he was too busy checking his phone messages or something, LOL! Anyway, so YAY! She's having her puppies. I predicted that she would have them either by the end of this month or by the first week in June. I was hopihng that she wouldn't have a hard time giving birth to these puppies since that Beagle was way bigger than Gypsy is being a mix of Pomeranian and Chihuahua. If anyone lives in our area and would like to have one of these puppies, please email me. They won't be ready for at least 6 weeks from now, but they are going to be some really sweet puppies, that's for sure! Gypsy is such a sweet dog and has always had the best litters. I'm so happy! Our little family is growing right now! I have to go make sure that she's doing all right. Later! <3

04172012 - Happy 14th Wedding Anniversary to Roy, my beloved, dear, sweet husband! I will always be your Mrs. Penguin! ALWAYS! OK gang, I have to tell you, these past few months have been killer on me mentally and emotionally, but I am back!!! We finally got court ordered visitations to be able to see our granddaughter! OMG! I have not seen her in 8 months now, and we are seeing her Saturday (04212012)!!! It's a very long and personal story, but that is why I have been, "Temporarily Out Of Order" lately. It's like my brain got severed from my head, or something?! I can't explain it. Anyway, I will be hosting my 9th Giveaway real soon! I have been editing my website so that it doesn't have so many pages for me to fix. I made a new page and deleted a bunch of others, to make it run smoother. I will tell you that learning to use those "Includes" really helped a lot! Now, instead of going page by page to fix up stuff (LOL! Get it? fix up stuff? LOL! *winks@hubby*), I just open one page to fix them all! WOW! Who knew?! OK, I gotta run for now. See you on Facebook, eh? Bubble Witch Saga is calling my name! ;) <3

Our grandchildren went back to school this morning. Funny, I always thought that August was the last month of Summer. I guess they do things weird in the, "Deep South". SUCKS!

I am not real sure what I am doing these days with my Dig's Art site. I love doing the giveaways, but it really bummed me out when not many people participated in my last one. It's bad enough that I lost my muse since my husband has been working so far away, now people don't want free handmade jewelry?!? I don't get it. I will see how the next giveaway goes, then I will decide if I want to continue doing them or not. <3

I have been updating the website once again. Yeah, I know, I'm addicted to doing that. It just needed to be tweaked a little. I had some typos, etc. and a bit of re-wording some information that didn't look right to me.

If you want to know why I am not selling anymore of my jewelry, well, it's mostly because I am having neropathy in my right hand and it's giving me a bit of trouble...pain really whenever I try to use it. Also, my eyes are fading. Having diabetes SUCKS! Not only that, but I've been TRYING to sell my jewelry since I first got online and, well, to tell you the truth...I am just not a sales person. I couldn't sell a beached fish water! I think I sold 2 items last year total! So, although I can make some really nice pieces, I guess I'll give them away as gifts or in my contests...just for fun. Don't feel bad for me, please?! I think that things happen for a reason, and I could not imagine ever getting a ton of customers. Imagine what my hand would be like if I had a ton of customers wanting my jewelry!!! OMG!!! So thank God I can't sell stuff or I'd be in worse condition than I am now most likely! LOL! Yep, so that's the way that I see it now, and I can host my giveaway contests without any more pressure to create something else. What is in the gallery is what will be given away. They are new pieces that have not been worn. It just I need to put the sizes of the items on the site. That's what I am about to do right now. :) ♥Dig♥

My mother was a Taylor, and my name is Elizabeth. I've always thought what if my mom would have used her maiden name instead of her married name? My name would be Elizabeth Taylor! LOL! Yeah, I'm a bit nuts!

OK Dig's Art fans, I have changed a few things on the website. My "Gallery" is no longer a "for sale" site, although you may still purchase some of my handmade jewelry items for now. I will still be hosting giveaway contests, but I will no longer be recreating my handmade jewelry. Due to forces beyond my control (ie. personal problems), I will be giving away items that have already been made by me, but haven't been worn. Now the only problem with this is that I made these for myself and they are my size. Stay tuned to find out what size my wrist size is!

I've been really thinking hard about making my http://digsart.com site a sharing site only, and no longer a sales site. I don't get many orders per year for my jewelry anyway. I may still host some giveaways...still thinking about this one. I do have a lot of jewelry that I've made and never wear. Perhaps I will give you a chance to win those?!? I think that's a pretty good idea and a way to still share the jewelry that I make. The only downside is that these pieces are already made according to my sizes in some cases. Ahh well, maybe someone out there has the same bracelet size as me? I guess we'll see! LOL! :D ♥Dig♥

09132020 - Yesterday was our grand daughter Lilly's 5th birthday. Her other grandparents and Aunt Sarah came to help us celebrate it. She got a ton of great presents and Roy got her a Dora the Explorer cake that ROCKED!!! If you are my friend on Facebook, you can check out the pix there!

09232010 - It's been a hell (hot wise) of a month for us here in the Deep South, but we are looking forward to the cooler weather. I have some good news if you haven't heard already. Our grand daughter Lilly turned 5 years old on the 12th, and is about to start Pre-K soon! We are so excited about it because she is so smart and we would really love to see her make some new little friends her age, and to learn some more stuff! She's got the ABC's, her colors and shapes down, now to get those numbers 1-10 down before she starts! I just wish that her Mom could be in the position to be there for her on her first day. Perhaps I will record it for her so she won't miss it?
